Accedo launches Accedo Compose, an AI platform that personalizes streaming services by using autonomous agents to optimize viewer experiences.
The platform includes specialized agents like a "churn risk agent" and "monetization agent" to target business goals such as reducing cancellations and increasing upgrades.
Accedo Compose integrates with the existing Accedo Assemble OTT platform but is also available as a standalone product.
The AI-driven platform aims to differentiate Accedo in the competitive streaming market by offering a dynamic, personalized user experience.
Accedo is launching Accedo Compose, an AI platform that uses “impact agents” to continuously personalize the viewer experience on streaming services, moving beyond rigid, one-size-fits-all interfaces. The system, developed with cloud expert Merapar, will be demonstrated at IBC in September.
Agents on the case: Built on Amazon Web Services, Compose lets autonomous AI agents optimize a service on the fly. The agents’ job is to watch viewer behavior and then introduce changes designed to hit specific business targets—like stopping cancellations or encouraging upgrades.
A tool for every job: The platform includes specialized agents, such as a "churn risk agent" that can serve retention offers to disengaged users. Another "monetization agent" is designed to dangle an upgrade offer when a viewer seems most ready to buy, creating a more responsive service than traditional personalization.
From intent to execution: “Compose closes the loop between strategic intent and user-level execution,” said Accedo Group CEO Michael Lantz. The platform integrates with the company’s existing Accedo Assemble OTT platform but is also available as a standalone product.
Accedo is betting that baking intelligence directly into the streaming experience itself is the key to standing out in an increasingly competitive market. It’s a move from static design to a service that constantly adapts for each individual. The company isn't just focused on front-end AI; it’s also rolling out native identity management for its Accedo One platform, giving customers a single tool to manage the entire subscriber lifecycle.
