  • The Quortex Play platform offers a flexible, pay-as-you-go model, aiding cost management for unpredictable event schedules.

  • The platform ensures reliability with dual-ISP fallback and supports both SRT and RTMP streaming protocols.

  • Synamedia's partnership highlights its focus on end-to-end cloud video solutions and content security.

Synamedia is partnering with major Indian live event provider 24 Frames Digital to power its streaming services, deploying the Quortex Play platform to manage high-stakes corporate events for audiences that can exceed 40,000 concurrent viewers, as first reported by Advanced Television. The deal gives 24 Frames Digital a scalable, reliable backbone for its business, which depends on flawless live delivery.

  • Pay-as-you-go play: 24 Frames Digital chose Quortex Play for its flexible, pay-as-you-go model, which helps contain costs for the unpredictable scheduling of virtual AGMs and product launches. The company started with a free trial and noted that the platform’s just-in-time video processing was a key factor in its decision.

  • Keeping the stream alive: To prevent catastrophic failures during high-profile events, the platform delivers reliability by ingesting streams using both SRT for full HD and RTMP for mobile. The system is backed by a dual-ISP fallback to keep the service from failing.

  • Automation and the human touch: "We chose to partner with Synamedia because we could get the best of both worlds with automation and the human touch: a platform that scales effortlessly for large audiences, and a support team that is committed to our success," said Satyen Humane, Director of Video, IT and Cloud Infrastructure at 24 Frames Digital.

The partnership is part of a busy year for Synamedia as it builds out its portfolio of cloud video solutions. The deal demonstrates the company’s focus on providing end-to-end services, from delivery and cost management to content security. Synamedia also recently partnered with French film giant Pathé to deploy forensic watermarking, helping the studio protect its premium movie catalog from piracy. Meanwhile, the company is rolling out new tools to help providers manage the complexities of modern streaming, including Quortex Switch, a solution designed to optimize multi-CDN costs and performance.
